Which books Real covers, face-out The one thing that uses the network: each book’s published cover is fetched from Open Library by the ISBN in your export, and the shelf becomes a wall of actual covers, all brought to one matte finish so mixed scans sit together. Books with no cover on file are left off it.

What is real here

Real: titles, authors, page counts, years and ratings from your export, and in cover mode the covers themselves, untouched except for one shared finish. Chosen: the drawn spines — a design keyed to each book, its width from its page count, its dress from its era. No database of photographed book spines exists, for any price, so this page does not pretend to one.
